Through dramas and comedies\, their films explore lesbian relationships\, trans lives\, “coming-out\,” AIDS\, and the pleasures of being queer. \n*The Queer French Film Series is funded\, in part\, by the City University of New York’s Research Foundation. \nBio \nDavid A. Gerstner is Professor of Cinema Studies at the City University of New York. In 2024\, he was awarded Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
