🎦DETAILS:
When lonely musician Gaspard Snow is enchanted by the call of a wounded young mermaid he sets out to save her, unaware that he is about to embark on adventures that will mend his broken heart.
🎥THE MOVIE:
The story kicks off in Paris, where heavy rains have led to a historic flood of the Seine along with a spate of mysterious disappearances. One night, Gaspard Snow, a melancholic musician, is lured by an enchanting voice – that of a wounded yet beautiful young mermaid. Eager to save her, Gaspard has no idea that he’s about to embark on dramatic adventures which, through the power of love and music, may well mend his broken heart.. – Plot

THE PLAN:
The screening will take place at Cinéma Studio 28, the oldest in Paris, located in the beautiful and historic neighborhood of Montmartre. We’ll be hosting cocktail hour (including mulled wine) at 8pm. At 9pm, the screening begins! Tickets available at the door only – please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Lost in Frenchlation and Ciné-Balade have teamed up to bring you a walk through cinema history in Montmartre, from Saint-Vincent Street to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. You will discover one of the most filmed districts of Paris where each director drew on the story of the hill and its artists. Malzieu said he was inspired by iconic movies ranging from “E.T.” to “Amelie” to “Girl on the Bridge” and “City Lights.”… We can’t wait to dive in with him!
