Join us for a celebration of the Journée de la Francophonie, AKA French Language Day! Join Ciné-Balade for a French New Wave movie-themed walking tour. Then, sociologist Valentin Thomas will introduce ‘Un Peuple,’ a thought-provoking documentary about the Yellow vest movement in France. Be sure to stick around for a Q&A with Valentin following the screening!

We’ll kick off this special celebration of the Journée de la Francophonie with a movie-themed walking tour at 5:30pm, followed by drinks at 7pm. Later, Dr. Valentin Thomas will introduce the film, followed by the screening at 8pm. To close out the night, Valentin will answer all our questions with an informative Q&A.
