You will love this whimsical comedic love story, ‘Petite Leçon d’Amour’ – A classic romantic comedy about bringing two polar-opposite strangers together. Brought to you by Ève Deboise, an ex-lawyer who turned to film, to bring you classic films like Lost Paradise (2012) and Petite Leçon d’Amour (2022). Be sure to stick around for the Q&A after the screening, so Ève herself can answer all your questions about the film!
Julie and Mathieu, soon after meeting for the first time, embark on a quest across Paris to stop a student of Mathieu’s from doing something stupid, after finding a troubling love letter. Inside Mathieu’s old little car, the two characters mix like oil and water, with the math teacher’s carelessness for others not going well with Julie’s larger-than-life personality. The more Mathieu discovers some fragility under Julie’s exuberance, the more the two become inseparable. — Synopsis
“The music is as light as the content in this modern tale that is both whimsical and playful” — The French Daily News
