When Jean, a gangster, falls under a subway train in Paris, his friend Marc is convinced he was actually pushed by Boris. Boris is the feared henchman of “the American,” the leader of a rival gang to whom Jean owed money. Along with another accomplice, Hans, Marc contacts Jean’s son, Alex, to propose a new job: stealing a serum designed to combat a deadly virus. With the loot, he intends to get revenge on the American. But a complication arises when Alex falls for Anna, Marc’s girlfriend.
