Alex lives under the Pont-Neuf with his friend Hans, who regularly supplies him with the sleeping pills he’s addicted to. One night, while wandering along Boulevard Sébastopol, he’s hit by a car. Michèle, a young woman, witnesses the scene. When he’s released from the hospital in Nanterre, she goes to find him under the Pont-Neuf. She’s running away from her first love, Julien. While Alex is ready to welcome her, Hans wants to drive her away. Michèle, who goes blind, soon falls in love with Alex. A passionate love story filmed against a backdrop of magnificent scenery.
