Franรงois works nights, he loves Anne who works days, but they can never see each other. One morning, he sees her leaving her apartment with a pilot. He confronts her. That afternoon, instead of sleeping, he wanders the streets and recognizes the pilot with another woman. He follows them to the Buttes-Chaumont park and meets Lucie, a curious and mischievous high school student. Together, they follow the couple like detectives.
