In this second installment of his “Three Colors” series, Krzysztof Kieslowski tells the story of Karol, a Polish hairdresser, and his French wife, Dominique. Karol has lost everything after his divorce from Dominique; he can’t even return to Poland and refuses to become a murderer for money. After finally managing to return to his country, he embarks on various ventures and falls into the trap of his revenge on Dominique, but ultimately wins her love back.
