Lost in Frenchlation kicks off its third anniversary with a special screening of this timeless love story. Filmed at the prestigious Comédie Française, this technically-stunning production is designed to honor both the urgency of passion felt by the young lovers and the impending sense of doom permeating their lives (the production culminates in a gothic set piece reminiscent of the catacombs). Ruf and his skilled production team are up for the challenge of shining new light on this old classic. Even those well-versed in this story will be amazed. Director Éric Ruf calls the production, “a sort of ghost play, a myth so present in people’s minds that it has become self-perpetuating.”

The screening will take place at Club de l’Étoile, located by Champs-Élysées and the famous Arc de Triomphe. We’ll be hosting both a cocktail hour and a special raffle at 6pm (Raffle prizes include ‘Lost in Paris’ guides, ‘Mystery in the City’ boxes, and ‘MovieLand’ maps). The screening begins at 7pm and features free beers and snacks for our 8:30 intermission!
